it's times like these / I need relief / please show me how / to get right, yes, out of sight.

I could tell you so much about this weekend! Me frightening the poor horse Toquito and for the first time in my life riding a horse; being in a casino, spending all my money on roulette, then switching to blackjack, winning it all back, getting to know the local mafiosi in the midst of all the champagne glamour, and eventually running away with one of the croupiers with all the cash, playing Bingo (we still lost the money); passing through the Concha & Toro winery, which turns out to be Latin America's largest (and I said that I'd seen the logo!!) and eventually ending up literally three steps away from the cordillera. After that I was given an express lesson of how to get away from shoplifters, but after several attempts I still couldn't flick the fingers and shout ¡Rapa! with a fearlessly indifferent enough look to get away as a local. But not only am I tired as hell, my heart is broken for just having seen the Black Keys in Santiago... through the laptop screen. I really hope that what I am saving up money for instead (and this time I'll try to keep my mouth shut) will eventually happen!

This is them one week ago in Brasil.

Of course, tonight they were better. And I was not there. Argh!

This is what I saw instead.

Still not too bad, huh?
